Placing programs on a RAM drive all at once

Can I do the following steps all at once (instead of doing this separately for each program)?

1. Remove all the folders that I'm going to replace with hard links.
2. Open the command prompt with admin.
3. Execute all the hard-link commands (e.g. mklink 'j "link folder" "target folder" one after each other).
4. Add all the program files onto the RAM drive at once.

It is not very clear what you are trying to do. If you just want to move some applications to a RAM disk, perhaps a better approach would be to move their folders to the RAM Disk and then create links from their original location to the new location.

You may be able to create a batch file that takes application folder name as input and does the above. This batch file can then be run for each application you want to move.

Having said that, we generally don't recommend moving applications to a RAM disk. There is little to no benefit and a range of potential issues. Please see this article for details.
