MAC address is not retrieved   09 July 2021, 12:33

Hi,

We have a switch in which MAC is not being retrieved. Have tried both SNMP 1 & 2. Tested with another mapping software and it's retrieving the MAC. Any ideas?

This suggests that MAC address assignments in your switch may be in some unusual format.

Would you be able to run SnmpWalk against your switch, dump the complete SNMP tree to a CSV file and send it to us? Also, a screenshot of the retrieved data from the other port mapping application (the one you said worked correctly) may be very helpful.

Thank you for the files, they helped us to find what was causing the problem.

We have just released a new version, which includes a fix for this issue.
