Queries about Graph and Desk Band   26 February 2013, 18:57

Hi,

First of all many thanks for creating such a useful software. Its really one of the best network meter I found for Win 7.

I have few queries about the Graph and Desk Band display:

1. How can I make the Graph window shorter? See attached image which is about 80 x 60 pixel and I cannot reduce the frame size anymore.

2. Is there a way to remove transfer rates from graph? I tried setting font size in hidden settings to 0 but didnt work. I have currently set the font size to 2 and you can see it still occupies a lot of space.

3. How can I hide "Data both" graph item from Graph? Its usually the top most item and it covers download/upload graph for most of the time.

Thanks again and best of luck.

Milan

1. This is the minimum size.

2. No, there isn't.

3. It's not possible, because if the "data all" colour is not present, either download or upload will obscure its counterpart, and such a graph won't be useful. The "data all" colour represents the colour with which the value will be shown when both in and out traffic has
been recorded.

For example if you define Blue for 'Data In', Green for 'Data Out' and Yellow for 'Data Both', the chart will be shown as follows:

a) When only incoming traffic was recorded, it would be painted as a blue bar.

b) When only outgoing traffic was recorded, it would be painted as a green bar.

c) When both incoming and outgoing traffic was recorded, a part of the bar would be painted yellow and the top would be blue or green, whichever traffic prevails.

This allows you to see both in & out traffic on a single graph.

1. & 2. I hope you consider this in future releases.

3. Thanks for clearing that out, makes sense.
