Can I use NetWorx for speed tests?   19 February 2014, 13:44

When I hover over the bar chart in my task bar area, I'm given reading of 1 KB/s and such. If I test at Time Warner's speed test I see 15MB /s.

Any idea why there is such a dramatic difference. I know they'll never be the same, but shouldn't they be similar?

NetWorx is not a speed test. It's an application for monitoring how much data you have downloaded and at what speed.

If you're doing the Time Warner's speed test while looking at the NetWorx's readings, and it reports a lower number, check what you have selected under Monitored Interfaces in the NetWorx settings.

"All Connections" is selected in Monitored Interfaces.

Is there a tool showing the speed as well?
