How to change separator between octets in MAC address

Started by Joseph C

I love your network scanner, and I use the Copy MAC address function all the time. Often, I copy the MAC address so I can paste it into other devices. Many devices require the MAC address to have semicolon (:) instead of a dash (-) between the octets.

Could this be a configurable option to use one or the other separator?

Yes, this can be easily changed. Simply select the suitable separator in the MAC address format setting at the View tab in the Network Scanner's Options:

I looked for a setting that would do that just before sending the request, and I did not see that. Sorry for missing it.

Your program is GREAT, thank you!
