Amount of data sent and received during each scan   13 February 2020, 14:40

Hi
I have technical question about Network Scanner. Basically for normal or advanced scan, how much approximately is the bandwidth usage to retrieve devices information?
For example, if I want to scan 100 Windows computers ion the subnet, how much data is retrieved or pulled from each scanned device? Also, what about the data sent from the host machine to all theses devices?

It is impossible to predict precisely, as it depends on a large number of factors.
However, if you are happy with an approximate number, you can get it by following these steps:
  1. Install an application monitor, like Process Explorer.
  2. Launch it as Admin, and configure it to display "Network Bytes In" and "Network Bytes Out".
  3. Scan one device with the Network Scanner and note the numbers reported by Process Explorer.
  4. Multiply by the number of devices you have.
