Hi,
I'm using the 64-bit version of SoftPerfect RamDisk in Windows 8.
When a disk is mounted, Task Manager often crashes when I open it. Sometimes when it doesn't, Disk 1 is noted as: "Disk 1 (C:, F:, F:, F:)". Seems like Task Manager is not processing the RamDisk properly (F: drive is my RamDisk).
Any way to fix this?
Thanks.

This issue has been fixed in this new update.
For some reason Windows 8 Task Manager doesn't like standalone volumes and crashes. It however seems to work normally if you create a RAM disk with complete HDD emulation enabled, which is a new option in this version.

I have task manager starting at login automatically (tm.bat in win 8 startup), and Ramdisk v3.3.3 64bit would crash task manager - also multiple "Z Z Z's" for disk performance tab. The same setup is for 2 laptops.
The problem stopped after I dismounted then remounted the image and ramdisk. Now it works fine with taskmanager. I not sure but maybe ramdisk clobbered memory space of Taskmgr.exe when first created. In any case, all works fine now even before installing the new update. Though of course you may prefer to update - I will do it a bit later.
