Good morning, all. My computer specs are:
Processor: dual Pentium III - 1GHz
Operating System: WinXP SP3
Memory: 2.0GB PC133 SDRAM
When I try to install the freeware RAMDisk setup file (version 3.3.3.0), I get the warning box:
"Your computer appears not to support the SSE2 instruction set. Click OK to continue the installation at your own risk or Cancel to quit."
As much as I'd like to proceed anyway so that I may possibly watch streaming videos with the greatest of speed, I am leery of screwing up my entire system or going through many Blue Screens of Death. Can anyone from tech support verify that this application is safe for pre-Pentium IV processors that do not support the SSE2 instruction set? If it is, please inform me of any system adjustments I would have to make so that the lack of SSE2 support does not cause a problem.
