Dear punks,

It seems you made a decent performance RAM Disk software, however flawed by several incompatibilities:

As others already noticed:
1) it doesn't show on Disk Management;
2) is not work with several disk utilities;

and I would like to add:
3) that doesn't work either with Storage Pools (Windows 2012 r2)

This is a critical feature for use Windows Server Storage Tier features... RAMDisk to cache SSD, instead of SSD to cache HDD.

Just because of this, we cant use your RAM Disk... too back, because performance is fair.

Did you try the Hard Disk Emulation feature introduced in version 3.4?

Hate to ping such an old thread, but hard disk emulation does not solve this.

I can confirm there's a bug that prevents a RAM disk from being used with in a storage pool, but I am afraid there is no fix yet. Microsoft's documentation regarding the internal implementation of the storage pools is rather scarce.
