Have been using this successfully for some months - however Shadow Copy was not working so backups were failing. Switched on Hard Disk emulation and RAM disk then failed to mount with: "Operation failed with status code C0000184".

Environment Windows 8.1 (with and without recent Windows 8.1 Update) 64-bit.

It's hard to tell why this may be happening. Could you please post here a screenshot of all your disks and partitions from diskmgmt.msc?

Apologies for the delay. Screen shot attached - couldn't paste for some reason.

S: is a DVDFab Virtual Drive.

Also have Y: and Z: drives created by NetDrive 1.4 which don't show here.

Get the error even if I close both DVDFab and NetDrive (though of course drivers may still be loaded).

Any news about the fix? AFAIK there has been no new version since the fix was promised.
