Is there any way to monitor RAMdisk activity in "Resource Monitor" in Windows? By default "Resource Monitor" just doesn't anything about RAMdisk under "Disk".
With the HDD emulation option off, a RAM disk is a standalone volume (like a USB flash drive) and it's not available under Performance Monitor or Disk Management.
With the HDD emulation option on, a complete disk with partitions is emulated and thus can be accessed in many Windows tools.
