Would enabling "Serial over LAN" improve emulation performance and or accuracy? I am just trying to figure out if "Serial over LAN" could improve my SoftPerfect Connection Emulator tests.

Serial over LAN (SOL) is a mechanism that allows you to forward data from a COM port over a TCP/IP connection. This can be useful for remote device management or for applications that require communication between devices over a network. However, it is not directly related to the emulation of network conditions, which is the primary purpose of SoftPerfect Connection Emulator.

Enabling Serial over LAN should not have any significant impact on the performance or accuracy of your emulation tests. SoftPerfect Connection Emulator works independently of the Serial over LAN feature, and its main focus is on accurately simulating various network conditions, such as latency, packet loss, and bandwidth limitations.
