Maximum bandwidth capabilities   13 January 2024, 14:40

I am interested in purchasing a license for the Connection Emulator and have a couple of questions:
1. What will be the maximum bandwidth and latency options?
2. Will it be possible to use this WAN simulator software for LAN testing too?

The maximum bandwidth that our Connection Emulator can handle is approximately 1 Gbps. However, this may vary depending on your hardware and network configuration.

The Connection Emulator does not differentiate between LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network). It functions as a packet filter, introducing latency, bandwidth limitations, and various other network characteristics. So yes, you can use it for both.
