WiFi Guard stopped recognising a device   03 July 2014, 11:53

Hello,
I added my phone to the all devices list yesterday and WiFiGuard recognised it just fine and it was added to the all devices list with it's MAC address.
However today it doesn't recognise the phone after a scan. Have checked phone WiFi is on. Rebooted it, and my computer, rescanned but it still isn't recognised by WiFiGuard. It's still listed in 'all devices'.
Does someone have any idea what's happening?
Thank you in advance.
Hans.

It looks like sometimes mobile devices tend not to respond to incoming requests, though the reasons are unclear.

Perhaps it has to be actively used or something, and sooner or later it will be detected. Good news is nobody would really crack your network from a mobile phone smile
