D-Link DGS-1510-52XMP

With D-Link DGS-1510-52XMP, the Switch Port Mapper is not able to return MAC addresses of devices connected on access ports with VLAN other than 1 assigned. Their DGS-1210-52MP is working fine with SPM.

D-Link support provided me with this:

It can get all VLAN ID's MACs

Could you please update SPM, so it can read MAC table correctly? Thank you.

SoftPerfect Port Mapper supports both dot1dTpFdbTable and dot1qTpFdbTable, but this issue likely stems from the fact that it fetches them in exactly this order. So if there was some data in the d-table, the software would not look into the q-table.

We have just updated the Port Mapper so that it fetches the tables in reverse order, that is the q-table first, then failing that, the d-table. In any case it makes sense to process dot1qTpFdbTable first, as it was designed to supersede dot1dTpFdbTable.

Please try the latest build and let us know how it works for you.
