How to save/remember the IP range for future scans   10 June 2024, 19:30

Hi

When I launch a new scan with the "go" button, I select the switches and the scan begins. Then at a certain point it asks me for an IP address range.

The question is: why every time I launch the scan it asks me for an IP range? Even if I do "add", the next time it asks me again.

Can't I save the IP ranges so that it automatically scans them?

The Port Mapper application prompts you for an IP address range because your computer has multiple IP addresses configured on its network interfaces, and the software does not know which network would be the correct one to resolve MAC addresses to IP addresses.

However, as an improvement, in the latest build we have just added a tickbox that will remember your choice until the application is restarted:
