Yes, this feature is normally implemented by extracting the data from so-called SNI, or Server Name Indication.
We have implemented SNI name extraction in the latest NetGenius build - you should be seeing names that are more meaningful than Akamai's.
Please try the new build and let us know how it works for you. At the moment this will only work for HTTPS, not HTTP (we will add HTTP support shortly).
We have added HTTP support as well. If you download and install a fresh build, you should be able to see the correct host names (i.e. the real host names instead of the reverse-resolved domain names like Akamai) for both HTTP and HTTPS connections.
