I am currently running Networx 5.2.8 and WinPCap. I see that Networx 5.2.9 includes a new LAN traffic filtering driver.

In view of the new driver with 5.2.9, is it advisable/preferable to:

(1) Discontinue use of WinPCap (uninstall it from my computers)?

(2) Uninstall 5.2.8 before installing 5.2.9 (rather that just installing 5.2.9 over 5.2.8)?

It's up to you.

If you were using WinPCap without any issues, I'd recommend to stick to that choice as version 5.2.9 supports WinPCap as well.

You can install any version of NetWorx on top of the previous installation. In fact, you should do so to retain past usage records.
