Mobile broadband modem

I have a network connection at work that I don't want to monitor and a Mobile broadband modem that I use to connect from home. I would like to monitor it.

When I connect with the modem a new MAC is generated, thus I cannot select it from the list of networks to connect to unless I select it everytime I connect. How about an option that would compliment the other two options: ALL NETWORKS EXCEPT THE SELECTED ONES

Bottom line, I don't want to monitor the LAN but only my connection.

Perhaps I'm missing the correct setting but but I just cannot get it to work.....

There should be a way to make the modem always use the same MAC address.
