With 5.2.10, setting the deskband frame display to "False" in the advanced settings does not seem to work.

Which parameter exactly are you changing?

I have set the preference "Frameless tray icon graph" to True. The frame around the tray icon graph remains visible.

This option refers to the NetWorx notification area icon when it's in the graph mode as shown below. It does not apply to the desk band graph.
