Is there a way to keep the width of the task bar toolbar fixed in size?

I RDP into the computer from all different sized screens so that on a wide screen the graph is very wide and on not so wide screens the graph is very small.

Try locking the task bar.

I'm running XP with the task bar double height (2 rows of icons)

Then I am afraid there is no way to make it fixed.
