How to set up either SNMP or UPnP to monitor usage 17 May 2015, 08:09 |
Hello, I have searched around a bit for information on how to set up router monitoring but I haven't found any information that has helped. I have an ASUS RT-N66U Black Knight router and I can't set up either SNMP or UPnP to monitor usage. I read something about needing to install something for SNMP with this router, which I don't know how to do and I can't figure out how to set up UPnP either, granted I'm not much of a computer guy so I have no idea what I'm doing. :P
If anyone can help I'd be very grateful! Thanks in advance!

There isn't much we can do. If neither SNMP nor UPnP works, this means these are either unsupported or not enabled in the device.
I'd suggest to search the router's web-interface and user manual for any mention of SNMP/UPnP and see if there is a way to turn it on. If those aren't mentioned, they are probably not supported by the device.
