Computer name in usage reports   18 August 2016, 18:08

I'm using NetWorx software to monitor multiple computers in different locations.

Is it possible to have a field with the name of the PC in the reports that are sent by email, or some form of distinguishing it from another PC?

The computer name is present in the e-mail subject. This should be sufficient for telling which computer it came from.

What if all computers have the same network names? These are computers at different branches. I cannot understand which one sent the report by mail.

Well, how would you tell them apart?

I guess we can include the domain name like Domain\Computer, provided there are no identical domains in your environment.

It would be better to be able to change this in the settings.

We have added this as a new setting.

Please download the latest build, then go to the Hidden Options and set the last parameter Custom email subject tag to any text you like.
