Ignore LAN traffic on Linux   21 February 2019, 17:39

I have recently began using NetWorx. I am wondering if there is an option in the Linux version to ignore local LAN traffic or block a specific IP, like there is in Windows version. I have a NAS and it's throwing off my upload and downloads.

Kind Regards,
Scott

No, I am afraid this functionality is not available in the Linux or macOS versions. Filtering traffic by IP address requires a network driver to be installed, or a reliance on a third-party package like libpcap, which comes with extra implications like requiring root privileges.

We may be able to implement it in the future, but at the moment individual IP addresses cannot be filtered out.

Thank you for the reply. If this is the case, is there any way to edit the upload/download statistics?

Regards,
Scott.

Not from the application itself, but you can modify its database kept in
~/.config/SoftPerfect/NetWorx
It's a standard SQLite3 database, so any SQLite manager should to the trick, for example DB Browser for SQLite.
