Feature suggestion: report requested IP or website for each application

Started by Markus

Hello,

I would love to find out and get a report about the IP addresses and websites to which each application is connecting. At the moment, I get a list of apps or a list of websites/IP's, but for investigations and forensic research it would help to get a conjunction of both. May you add this feature?

That's an interesting idea. Please allow us some time for implementation. We will let you know when a test version is ready.

This feature has been added in the latest build. Two-way look-up is possible, i.e. to find out which sites a specific application accessed, and which applications accessed a specific site.

Please note that per-application per-site data will only be recorded after the new build is installed. These reports will not be available for past records.

Additionally, this build aims to keep the database small, so by default it now only keeps 3 months worth of application and site details. All usage records will be retained, but application and site details older than 3 months will be deleted. The 3-month period can be changed in the hidden options, but this will only affect the life span of future records.
