Monitoring DSL link connection speed and status   21 January 2020, 14:39

Hi,
I am using speed monitor (speed meter) to report on my broadband DSL link. When I attempt to use the scheduling, the monitor runs for a short time and then stops. Is there a fix for this?

Secondly, is there a way of reporting/alerting when my DSL link is Up/Down?

The reason that the speed test doesn't work reliably on schedule is probably in some intermittent issue with a specific test server. I recommend downloading the latest version of NetWorx and selecting a different server in the Speed Meter window.

Regarding monitoring your connection status, there is a dedicated Connection Monitor feature. With it you can get a notification when your connection goes off-line and comes back on-line.
