I wanted to trial NetWorx before purchasing. After downloading from your site, installing and then starting the app, the NetWorx app icon does not show up anywhere in the menubar or the dock. I look in Activity Monitor and it does show as a running process/app.
How do I open the app if the menubar icon is missing? I cannot access any of the functionality of the app without this icon. Can you help?
I'd be happy to run a debug build and provide any further info to help you troubleshoot the issue.

Thank your for sending us detailed information. It looks like macOS may be hiding some menu bar items (including NetWorx icon) when there is limited space in the menu bar. This is especially common on MacBook models with a notch at the top of the screen. Could this be the case for you?
By default, NetWorx displays a speed widget rather than a single icon, which may be why it's not visible if you have a notched MacBook. Unfortunately, Apple offers no documented way for developers to detect whether an icon is hidden. As an alternative solution, we could add a check in NetWorx to detect the notch and then default to a regular icon when necessary. What are your thoughts on this?

That's good news, kinda, means your app is working as designed. I do have a notched MacBook and was aware of the hiding of icons when the menubar is crowded on the right side of the notch. So I did remove some items from the menubar to open up space, I guess just not enough.
I now removed more items from my menubar and also changed the spacing/padding between the menubar icons, and I did get the NetWorx widget to show. So, yes, the NetWorx does work on my system. However, for me, this widget takes up too much space. I really would prefer an option to show only an icon that then owns the app. So having a fallback to a regular icon would be a good option.

It's great to hear that the app is functioning as designed, and we appreciate your feedback.
In the latest release we have addressed this issue by adding checks for the notch. If the notch is detected, the NetWorx app will use the icon mode instead of the speed widget mode. The icon will provide access to all the app's features. And if you prefer to have the speed data to be visible at all times, you can configure the floating graph or speed display to do that instead:
