Security concerns and future release plans

Hello team,
I am a happy user of NetGenius and I just want to ask if there may be some security concerns.
This application has not been releasing any new updates or security patches and I am wondering if the development is stopped (so the lifetime support does not make sense anymore) or if you plan new releases soon.
