When loading a config file from another installation of NetScan 6.0.9 x64, I get this error:
Unable to read config: Assertion failure (g:\[dev]\netscan\gui.mainview.pas, line 1789)
Please see attached.
Thanks, John

It looks like there is something wrong with the config file, but according to the error message you're trying to load the config into a pretty old version (6.0.9 as well?).

We can only support the newest releases, with the latest one being v7.1.2, so I recommend trying the latest version.

Please note that the software is no longer freeware, so if you replace your free version with the latest one, it will be in trial mode. On the other hand, we have made significant improvements since 6.0.9, so you may want to consider purchasing a licence to gain access to the new features.

I have the same issue, either creating a new config file or opening an existing config. Same with multiple version

Read the other comments. Does not matter what version. I have tried old and new. Attempts to share a cofig file over the network with other copies of netscan fail with this error.
Yes the permissions are correct.
