Delay when clicking on FILE menu after launch or scan

Version v7.1.6 downloaded from this thread has a delay when clicking on FILE when the software is first launched. Re-clicking there is no delay. Then if I scan a range and wait until it finishes and then click on FILE there is a long delay before the menu appears. Thanks -WindowsStar
What about regular version 7.1.5 from the home page?
I guess it may be related to the new vector graphics that allow the UI to scale to any DPI. Before the menu is displayed for the first time, the icons may need to be rasterised, which may take a bit of time. Having said that, on all our testing systems it was pretty much instantaneous.
Version 7.1.5 works perfectly. Note: I am using the portable version of both, licensed, 64 bit.
Hmm that's really odd as there wasn't any changes to this part of the program. Anyway, perhaps be the problem will be found or resolve itself by the time the new version is officially released.
