Hi, Merry Christmas.

I would like to know if Netscan supports substituting a numbered group in regex, or substitution of elements or replacement patterns?

For example:
Capture a MAC A5:7E:88:D4:B1:2F
And then use regex grouping and replacement to obtain A57E88D4B12F

The latest release didn't support regex replacement, but you are making a good point here.

We've just added replacement expression support in version 7.1.9 which can be downloaded from the Network Scanner home page.

For your particular task, use this as the regular expression:

([0-9A-F]{2}).?

and this as the replacement expression:

\1
