NetWorx exits with "System tray icons are not supported" on Linux Mint MATE

Hello, I just renewed my NetWorx license. I entered my new license, then downloaded the current NetWorx version, backed up the DB, uninstalled the previous version (7.3): ~~~

Processing triggers for desktop-file-utils (0.27-2build1) ... ~~~ When I ran the new app, it returned the following error: > System tray icons are not supported in your current desktop environment. > This application requires a system tray to operate and will now exit. I then reverted to version 7.3, and it's now running smoothly. Is it possible to download version 7.3.1 or 7.3.2 and give them a try? My system is running Linux Mint 22 (Wilma). Thanks. Regards, Andrea
Older NetWorx versions used a GTK tray icon, which is now obsolete, so we're switching to a native D-Bus implementation.
Which desktop environment are you using, for example Cinnamon, XFCE or MATE? Please also run this in a terminal and send me the output. It shows the D-Bus activity, which will tell us where it goes wrong:
/usr/bin/networx -debug
The D-Bus tray icon doesn't work on MATE because its notification area doesn't fully implement the newer StatusNotifierItem specification.
So we've added a GtkStatusIcon fallback, which brings the tray icon back on MATE. It's in version 25.11 and later, on the NetWorx page.
