Daily usage mismatch between synchronized computers

Using NetWorx on a private network with a single router to the internet. Each computer has NetWorx installed and is configured for synchronization and to ignore local LAN traffic. All computers use a fixed IP address and Windows 7. Most computers use Wi-Fi for connection to the router.

Sometimes, all the computers show the exact same daily usage. Synchronization seems to be working.
Other times, the download shown on different computers can be vastly different, as if the computers are not talking to each other although all are still connected to the network and can access the internet. Why would the downloads shown be different? Network problem? NetWorx on some computers not seeing other computers?

How long after a large download (say 50 MB file) does it take for the computer making the download to synchronize that usage with all the other computers on the network?

Normally, NetWorx syncs the usage every 60 seconds. But if some computers do not see others, it is probably a firewall issue. You can try turning off any firewalls you have and see if that helps. Also, note that all the computers must be in the same subnet for the synchronization to work.

Alternatively, you could try NetGenius and see if it suits your setup better. With NetGenius, you can monitor all your computers from one location.
