RAM drive fails to mount after Windows 11 update

I am running the latest RAM Disk v26.10. After installing the latest Windows 11 security update KB5127648, my RAM drive disappeared and could no longer be mounted. When I tried mounting it manually, I got this error:

NT error code = C00000BB: The request is not supported.
image status = Image load succeeded.

The problem gets fixed if I untick the "Hard Disk Emulation" option for the RAM disk, or uninstall KB5127648.

Any advice on how to fix this while keeping Hard Disk Emulation and keeping Windows up to date?

The culprit was indeed the KB5127648 Windows update. We have just added the fix to the current RAM Disk version: simply download a fresh copy of RAM Disk and install it over your present installation. It will make your RAM drive mount again with hard disk emulation and KB5127648.

Thank you very much for this quick response!

I have just installed the fixed build, rebooted, and can confirm that my RAM drive now mounts correctly with Hard Disk Emulation enabled AND with KB5127648 installed.

Excellent support!
