I've uninstalled SoftPerfect RAM Disk, but before the uninstall I forgot to unmount the drive and it still remains as my drive A: in computer resources and is unusable. How can I solve this problem? Thanks

It looks like Windows has retained a mount point somewhere. Check these registry keys:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\DOS Devices

As one of these may have A:\ allocated. Alternatively see if you can remove the persistent drive letter from Start - Run - diskmgmt.msc.
