Name does not accurately reflect functionality

Wi-Fi Guard is not an accurate name for this product, as it detects all devices on one or multiple networks, not just those connecting via Wi-Fi.

Perhaps, a more accurate name would be Network Guard, although that name might be ambiguous, as it does not define what sort of guarding is being performed (it's too late for me to think of what other sort of network guarding might exist).

Regardless, a name that more accurately reflects its functionality would be better.

Wi-Fi Guard does have the ability to scan wired and wireless networks, but its name purposefully has two words: Guard is what it does, Wi-Fi is where most of the guarding happens.

Surreptitious plugging into someone's Ethernet is not a frequent occurrence. So in practice an unknown device turning up uninvited is almost always on Wi-Fi. Scanning a wired network segment as well as Wi-Fi isn't the name being wrong, it's the app being more capable than its name suggests. Moreover, this is a very popular app and it has been WiFi Guard since 2012. Renaming it now would cause more confusion than it would gain in precision, so it's staying as it is.
