Hi! I love your Network Scanner app and would love to keep using it, but sadly after the most recent Catalina update it stopped working. Is SoftPerfect going to issue a fix for that?

We have just published a new 64-bit build that should work well with Catalina. Please download the new .dmg file and let me know if it helped.

Thank you for the fast response. Unfortunately when I try to update the file I get this message:

Network Scanner can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.


Is there anything I can do to get around this? Apple just won't give up creating new problems for users and developers!

That message comes from Apple's new notarization requirements.

For a quick workaround, please try the following: go to Applications in Finder, right click the Network Scanner app icon, then choose Open menu item in the pop-up menu. In the new window press the Open button.
