Would it be possible for you to use an URL when we click on the "Help - Check for updates now" option?
It is trying to reach (I think) 198.211.116.136:80. Is there an URL so we can white-list it on our proxies?
Thank you.

For the traffic to reach the proxies, the application would have to have a proxy configuration option or internally, the option should use the URL path and not the IP.
From what I can see in my proxies and firewalls, I do not see anything on the proxies but I do see denials on the firewalls.

It depends how your proxy is configured.
If you are using a transparent proxy where any outgoing connection to port 80 is routed via the proxy, then it should work. The Network Scanner uses a standard HTTP GET to obtain the latest version number:
If your proxy is non-transparent, i.e. it requires a proxy server address to be set in apps, there is no way to configure the Network Scanner to use a proxy. It always uses a direct connection and adding proxy support would probably be too much effort for mere new version checks.
