Hi Andrew. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I was out of town. 1. I have uninstalled the latest version that i bought and installed the old one (ver 2.1.0), please see attached the screenshot and part highlighted in Red showing my CCTV Camera. 2. With regards to the firmware of this CCTV, there aren't any new. (a) It is very old CCTV, but as long as it is doing the job, am hap

Hi again, The temporary solution works fine, thank you. However, as mentioned above, I would like to have ALL my wired & wireless devices connected to my Network. If you are planning to work on 'a sort of checkbox' giving the user the ability for the program to choose between intensive scanning or light scan soon, I can keep going with this temporary fix. Please kindly advise. Thank y

Okay... that a good temporary workaround. I will try that when I get back home and post the results here. However, I think you could work on the 'Advanced Probes', have this feature in a check box, hence the user have the ability to choose between intensive scanning or light scan. What do you think? The purpose of having WiFi Guard is to have ALL historical data on my network, excluding one

Thank you for your prompt reply. The firmware of my CCTV Camera has not been updated since I bought it, more than 7 years ago. And I do not intend to update it either because it is working flawlessly. I can even access it remotely via Dynamic DNS (noip.com). Moreover, the previous WiFi Guard V2.0.1 (since early 2018) never had such issue. Its only with the new version that I installed (on the s

CCTV camera disconnects after network scan

8 months ago, by salimsm in WiFi Guard Forum

Good day team. I have purchased a new version of WiFi Guard yesterday, and upon launching of the program, the moment it scans the IP range, it disconnects my CCTV camera. I cannot even ping the IP address of the CCTV, all I have to do is to reboot the CCTV device and everything is back to normal. The moment WiFi Guard scan again after 30 mins, it again disconnects the CCTV system. At first, it

Thank you Andrew. I downloaded the latest build, installed it, and rebooted the PC, but the problem is still here. Please see the screenshot attached, done a few seconds ago.

Histogram in the tray icon looks like a line graph

1 year ago, by salimsm in NetWorx Forum

Hi again. In Settings > Graph > Graph in tray icon (as per attached screenshot), I have selected Histogram. But it looks more like a line graph instead of a histogram (you'll need to zoom in to see this anomaly clearer). I tried changing it to 'Thick Bars' and 'Thin Bars', and these two types of graphs work great. In the older versions, the histogram in the tray icon was a true histog

Thank you so much Andrew. I downloaded the new build, installed it and it works like a charm. I performed the changes you suggested above and now I have the graph rate (text) displayed in KB.

Thanks for your prompt reply Andrew. I did the following steps: 1. Installed the latest version (Ver7.0.2) and re-started the PC. 2. I could see the icon of Network in the tray bar, but it disappeared almost immediately. 3. Launched NetWorx again and same error message. 4. Compressed the DB as requested, sent to the help desk and got a reply for the successful delivery of the compressed file.

How to change graph units to KB for smaller values

1 year ago, by salimsm in NetWorx Forum

Hi, I have NetWorx version 7 and was trying to change the Mbit to Kb in Settings > Graph > Fixed T-axis scale. After I clicked Apply, the program crashed and the icon in the taskbar disappeared. Since then, every time I am re-launching the program, I have a window that pops up with the error message "Floating point division by zero" and closes after 1-2 seconds. I am using

IP address allocation log

6 years ago, by salimsm in WiFi Guard Forum

Dear Andrew, Thanks for replying. 100% correct ! I mistakenly put a *.wav sound in this line as well. I removed it and it works like a charm. Many thanks again. I would like to know if it is possible to get the IP Address in the 'All Devices' window. This would really help. The issue is most of the times I have to release and renew my DHCP addresses and in doing this, all the current

Error message "Failed to execute : 193"

Good morning. I am a registered user of Wifi Guard V2.0.1 and I am constantly getting the attached error message whenever WG detects a new IP address. If I click OK button (to ignore the newly discovered IP address), the program closes and exit to the desktop immediately. If I launch WG again, the moment it scan this newly identified IP, the error message appears again. I am using Windows 10
