It is in a separate area called hidden settings, dedicated to infrequently used parameters.
To access the hidden settings, simply press Ctrl + O in the regular Settings dialog.

I saw that same changelog and that hidden option to hide background was the reason I decided to give paid version a try (I have very old freeware one).
But I do not see it listed as an option now in any of the options (including hidden ones)? Was it removed?
It is great to have transparent background on Windows 11 taskbar, but I would also love to have an option to have transparent background for the on-desktop floating graphs as well. Is that still possible in the latest version?

Unfortunately graph background transparency became incompatible with the anti-aliased drawing that NetWorx is now using in order to be consistent with the appearance of the newer versions of Windows. So that hidden option was removed.
Instead please try the Window opacity option on the Graph tab in the ordinary NetWorx Settings. It is not exactly the same as the deprecated "Transparent graph background" hidden option, but hopefully you will be happy with how it looks for you.
